Nevada Deserves a Real Choice.

Independent Candidate · Governor of Nevada · 2026

⚡ Why you won't see me on the June ballot

Nevada has a “closed primary” election system. That’s by design to keep the 2 major parties in power.

Only Democrats and Republicans can participate in the first (Primary) Election in June. That takes it down to a single candidate for each party to face each other in the November General Election, where the winner is decided.

It’s very hard for Independents to win elections in Nevada. If a candidate doesn’t subscribe to either party, they have to fight the system to be included by gathering signatures of registered voters (of any party, or non-partisan) on a formal petition saying, “We support adding an independent candidate to the General Election in November.”

I still need more signatures, so if you’d like to sign the petition, use the volunteer form and choose “sign the petition”. Someone on our team will contact you.

Once I collect and submit all signatures in June, I’ll be added to the November 2026 general election ballot, running against the winners of the June primaries.

I don’t care about party talking points or agendas. I’m focused on what Nevadans actually need, and what I’ve spent years fighting for from inside the system.

Cracking Down on Political corruption

Government is supposed to be "Of the people, by the people, for the people." However, Nevada has been taken over by parties, PACs, lobbyists, and corporations.

Providing Real opportunity for All Nevadans

Affordable housing, quality education, small business support, and real pathways to economic stability. "They call it "economic development", but it's corporate welfare.

Prioritizing Safety & Well-being through accountability and prevention

Mental health, addiction, healthcare access, and community safety built on prevention and accountability. We can simultaneously clean up the streets while treating the root cause.

Driven by what Nevadans actually need.
Free of the 2 party system.

People over Parties, Insiders, PACs, and Lobbyists

For government to work for the people, we need campaign finance reform that bans dark money donors and limits the amount corporations can donate to candidates.

Protect & Improve Education for Every Child

We must fully fund schools and audit where every single dollar goes. We should invest in retaining and attracting effective teachers instead of blowing the education budget on tech and testing companies.

Support Workforce Development, Housing, Small Business & Home Ownership

These seem like different talking points, but they're not... they're all connected. Nevadans need more pathways to workforce development and homeownership, not just casino jobs.

Real Mental Health, Addiction, and Healthcare Support

91% of Nevadans live in a mental health shortage areas. This is a crisis in which real investment and re-structuring would compund and yield meaningful results in every other area.

Safer Communities through Prevention, Treatment, and Accountability

We can be tough on violence and smart about prevention at the same time. Those aren't opposing ideas, they go hand-in-hand.

Clean up Government Spending and Corporate Corruption

It's time to ban loopholes in no-bid-contracts. Our tax dollars should be re-invested into Nevada's economy instead of going to outside vendors and corporations.

I've been in the room. I know how it works.

"I'm independent because Nevada's problems are too serious to keep filtering every solution through party politics."

She has won two elections in Nevada, both in non-partisan races, & built coalitions across party lines by doing what most politicians won't: speaking plainly, voting on principle, and staying accountable to constituents even when it's uncomfortable.

Danielle represents nearly 1 in 4 Nevandans in her current board seat. She has seen firsthand how state government can be restructured to strip power from independent oversight bodies and concentrate it in the Governor's office. She's running to change that.
